Author Interview on Slushpile.net
I thoroughly enjoyed doing this interview for Slushpile, a website geared to aspiring authors. It's a pretty cool site with original content and information sure to appeal to all book lovers.

Enjoyed your interview this morning on c-span. I am long removed from the student generation. However, I would like to read any commnts that you might have written about making college more affordable at the state level. While the federal government(Bush Administration) is shrinking its assistance,is there anything that could be promoted at the state level?I believe that this is a political responsibility that for now must be assumed at the local level
My new book, DIY U:Edupunks, Edupreneurs and the Coming Transformation of Higher Education (buy it here), will be published by Chelsea Green in April 2010. I'm a staff writer for Fast Company Magazine and the author of the book Generation Debt. I've written Generation Debt columns for the Village Voice and as a featured Yahoo! Finance expert. I've also written for publications ranging from the New York Times to ReadyMade magazine and Mental Floss.
I live in Brooklyn with a phenomenal husband and an amazing cat.
