I grew up in Baton Rouge and New Orleans, Louisiana. My family moved to New Orleans in 1993 and I have always considered it my home. I'm getting married there next fall. I'm having trouble even imagining the devastation that has struck the city in the past two days--no power for a month! 100,000 people without homes! I was saddened upon hearing the katrina.. now there is a traddegy in haitti this makes me sad also.
