What's Wrong: A Handy Guide
This is the most amazing infographic I've seen in a while. It comes from Science Magazine. Personally, I address my life's work to combating apathy, ignorance, denial, and to some extent consumption. What are you going to fight?

What a joke! There is no global warming (now that a Canadian found the error in NASA's data, the earth has been cooling for the last 6 years...), we're about to "celebrate" 50MM abortions in the U.S., and a ban on DDT has caused more human deaths in Africa (from malaria, look it up) than all of these Chicken Little fears put together. I fear mankind will never wake up. Maybe for Christmas I'll get everyone a subscription to the fear/crisis of the week club. Oops, can we still say Christmas??
My new book, DIY U:Edupunks, Edupreneurs and the Coming Transformation of Higher Education (buy it here), will be published by Chelsea Green in April 2010. I'm a staff writer for Fast Company Magazine and the author of the book Generation Debt. I've written Generation Debt columns for the Village Voice and as a featured Yahoo! Finance expert. I've also written for publications ranging from the New York Times to ReadyMade magazine and Mental Floss.
I live in Brooklyn with a phenomenal husband and an amazing cat.
