No mention was made as to the government's role is this fiasco, to wit: easy credit with schools jacking up tuition with no restrictions. Unless and until there are caps on tuition increases for schools that receive federal monies in the form of student loans, nothing will improve. You can't ask colleges to self-police - didn't work for the financial industry - won't work in education either - so someone needs to step in and regulate this industry even if it means many schools go out of business.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.com
